  1. that's a lovely quote, there - with a rather poignant photograph.

i saw the cove last year and i thought it was very well made and provocative documentary, if only something as high profile could be filmed about sharks, which i believe are far more important to marine ecology and medical research than dolphins. but humans are like that; we don't want to save the ugly, toothy predators. i mean, look at the pandas. cute as heck, but couldn't even mate to save their lives without human help -.-

  3. @ Kok : Thank you for beeping by.. That was a lucky photo... I had a difficult time getting a good shot that particular day Ü

I was angry and sad and a whole lot of other emotions while watching The Cove. Sharks scares me though. I think it is the general concensus that Sharks are indeed scary. Maybe that's why? a couple of years ago I atched a documentary on sharks as well, how human obtain the ever delicious shark fin's soup. I still love the soup... but now i think twice before eating them.

@Lucy: Thanks darl! I missed you bunches! (=

  4. you did? then you know how they'd cut off the sharks' fins and then dropping them back into the sea to drown (sharks can't breath if they can't swim, see).

and what you like a bout the sharkfin soup has pretty much nothing to do with the sharkfin anyway. they are tasteless. it's the crabmeat soup you like!

anyway, i'm still trying to get my family to just switch to crabmeat soup; which is cheaper, more ecologically friendly and does not have rubbery, semi-inedible filaments in it.
